SEATTLE -- The Seattle Pacific University men's and women's soccer staffs are conducting special College I.D. Camps this spring, enabling prospective student-athletes to train and be instructed in a collegiate environment and be evaluated by college coaches.

The men's team, coached by Mark Collings, hosts a two-day ID camp on May 13 & 14 at Interbay Stadium. Head Coach Chuck Sekyra and the SPU women's team sponsors a one-day camp on May 21, also at Interbay Stadium.

These unique camps give prospective recruits the opportunity to understand what it takes to play and succeed at the college level. Campers will work on the technical, tactical and physical aspects of the college game.

The SPU camps also provide an opportunity for players to be seen by college coaches and gain feedback about improving their game for the next level. It also serves as a venue for the coaches to identify future SPU soccer players.
