SEATTLE –
Sophia Chilczuk scored a goal in each half Saturday for Seattle Pacific, which completed its regular-season women's soccer schedule with a 4-0 victory over Northwest Nazarene at Interbay Stadium.
The Falcons (11-7-0) improved their league ledger to 9-3-0, finishing second in the final GNAC standings.

Senior Day
Prior to kick-off SPU's four senior were recognized with a ceremony signifying their final regular-season home game. Midfielder
Megan Moore along with defenders
Asia Cayetano,
Mason Minder and
Megan Nielsen all started the game.
Coach
Arby Busey though it was fitting that his team's goal total matched the number of Falcons being honored on Senior Day.
"It was really neat to see that there were four goals today, one for each of the seniors and a shutout. A good performance. It was a big, emotional situation with it being Senior Day and the girls handled themselves really well in terms of managing all that stuff and staying relatively even-keeled so they could see this game out today."
POST-GAME SENIORS INTERVIEW
Goals Galore
Chilczuk opened SPU's account in the 16th minute and closed the scoring 10 minutes after halftime with her team-leading seventh goal.
Two other high-scoring Falcons got into the act as
Chloe Gellhaus notched her sixth score in the 25th minute on a wonderful dribbling run. She weaved through defenders in and out of the right side of the box before unleashing a 19-yard blast high into the goal.
"Chloe is a slippery character and was able to slither into a place where she could bang it. She got all of that one," Busey described.
Claire Neder netted her fifth goal of the season at the 53:57 mark. Just 37 seconds later Chilczuk followed with the fourth score.
"This team really has a high soccer acumen, they can really play the game," said Busey. "We saw some really nice goals today; combination play, some quality service from wide areas to tall people who can head it in and then some goals from distance. We've got quality up there and it was nice to get rewarded today with a lot of goals."
Goalkeeper
Riley Travis needed to make only one save to pick up her fifth shutout for SPU, denying a shot by Rikki Myers with 4:16 left to play with a routine save. The team recorded its seventh clean sheet.
The Nighthawks most dangerous opportunity came with just 24 seconds remaining. McKenzie Buell first-time a shot from the top of the 6-yard box that sailed over the crossbar.
Alexi Montoya made six saves for the Nighthawks, who were outshot by a lopsided 22-4 margin. They completed the season with a 3-7-2 GNAC record.

GNAC Tournament Hosts
The Seattle Pacific women move into the postseason and they will serve as hosts for next week's GNAC Tournament at Interbay Stadium.
"We're really excited about it. This is a special place for us. It's a great venue and all of the teams should enjoy coming here and playing under the lights," Busey said.
"Certainly for us it's a comfortable place to be and we're looking forward to that opportunity to be the hosts and the opportunity to continue our season."
Top-seeded Western Washington clashes with Central Washington in the first semifinal on Thursday at 4 p.m. and SPU plays No. 3 seed Western Oregon in the 7 p.m. nightcap.
The semifinal winners meet in the championship game on Saturday at 1 p.m. The champion receives the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division II playoffs.

Rubber Match
The Falcons and Western Oregon met twice already this season with each winning on its home field. The Wolves were 2-0 victors on Oct. 5 in Monmouth and SPU won the rematch in overtime by a 2-1 score.
"Playing Western Oregon a third time is two very familiar opponents and it will be every bit the playoff that it was intended to be from the outset," Busey projected.
"The top of the league is coming in, and that's what it should be. These four teams put themselves out ahead of everybody else. All of the games will be quality matchups. It's going to be exciting and fun."
