PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its 2022 All-Academic men's soccer team on Wednesday, featuring seven members of the Seattle Pacific University men's soccer team.
To make the GNAC All-Academic team, nominees must have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale (based on GPA at current institution). Nominees must be in their second season competing at the nominating institution. Freshmen, redshirt freshmen and transfers in their first year competing at your institution are not eligible. For graduate students, the undergraduate GPA must also meet the 3.2 minimum. Nominees must be on the roster for the complete season.
"We feel very fortunate that we have such great people in this program in guys that excel in the classroom and on the field," head coach Kevin Sakuda said. "It's everything we want SPU men's soccer to be about so it's nice to see these guys get recognized for all the hard work they put into their studies."
