SEATTLE – The Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team travels to Nampa, Idaho for this year's Great Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament that beings on Thursday as the Falcons take on host Northwest Nazarene at 6 p.m. PST in the semifinals for a chance to play the winner of Western Washington and Simon Fraser.
HOW THEY'VE FARED THIS SEASON
The Falcons and the Nighthawks meet in the semifinals after splitting two matches in the regular season. The first meeting came early in the year on Sept. 17.
Jacqueline Blakeley assisted a goal by
Lauren Forster in the 19
th minute. However, the Nighthawks played well on their home field, taking the match 3-1.
The second regular-season matchup between SPU and NNU happened last Saturday. The Falcons honored six seniors before the match, as a few of those seniors would come through in big ways.
AJ DePinto scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 11
th minute.
Kaitlynn Knocke started in goal for the Falcons, making five crucial saves on her way to the third shut out of her career.

All tickets to the championship must be purchased through this ticket portal, whether purchased in advance or at the competition venue on game day. There will be no cash sales at the site. The championships will also be streamed online at GNAC.tv.
GNAC WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS
The GNAC announced its All-Conference women's soccer teams on Tuesday afternoon, as seven Falcons represented Seattle Pacific on the list.
Chloe Gellhaus and
Marissa Bankey made the First Team. The tri of
Sophie Beadle, Forster and
Lauren Snedeker earned Second Team honors.
Mercedes Cullen and
Kathryn Nyone received Honorable Mention.
NCAA DII WEST REGION RANKINGS
The Falcons rank sixth in the Oct. 30
th edition of the NCAA DII West Region Rankings. Western Washington landed in third while Northwest Nazarene is ranked eighth. The top six teams from the advance to NCAA West Regionals.
WHAT'S NEXT
With a win, the Falcons advance to the GNAC Championship to play either the Vikings or the Red Leafs. If the Falcons don't advance, they'll await the NCAA DII Women's Soccer Selection Show.
