BURNABY, B.C. – The Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team played its regular season finale against Simon Fraser on Saturday evening in Canada, where Mercedes Cullen was fantastic for the Falcons, picking up her fourth shutout of the season while the two teams tied 0-0.
The Falcons entered the regular season finale having already qualified for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference on Oct. 31. SPU's advancement into the 2024 GNAC tournament is the 12th consecutive for the Falcons. The Falcons have never missed the event. Saturday's 0-0 tie with the Red Leafs will pit these two teams against each other again in the semifinals of the GNAC Tournament.

All tickets to the championship must be purchased through this ticket portal, whether purchased in advance or at the competition venue on game day. There will be no cash sales at the site.
Cullen was busy in goal for the Falcons. She faced 20 shots and made 11 saves. Kailalini Ahuna, Ella Smith, Landrey McCann, and Kathryn Nyone played well in front of Cullens for the SPU defense.
SPU generated eight shots on the offensive end of the field. Kayla Wallace sent in four, while Moira MacKay and Taylor Krueger had two shots each.
The Falcons are set for a rematch against the Red Leafs on Thursday, Nov. 14 in the semifinals of the GNAC Tournament in Seattle. Kickoff from Interbay Soccer Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
