SEATTLE - The Seattle Pacific University men's soccer team put persistent pressure on Regis on Saturday afternoon and left Interbay Soccer Stadium with a 3-1 victory over the Rangers, completing the weekend sweep of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schools.

"It was a really complete team performance today," head coach
Kevin Sakuda said. "One of the strengths of this group is the depth of this team, and we had guys step up and have big performances today. We talked about the importance of being able to stack back-to-back results over a weekend, so it was great to be able to open up this stretch of home games with six points."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Rangers got on the board first, when a free kick from just outside the box from Jan Grillitsch skipped along the ground and into the net to give his team the lead in the 12th minute.
- The Falcons answered with an extraordinary goal in the 32nd minute.
- Lucas Witthauer launched a ball from right to left that landed in front of Lukas Shriner, who tapped the ball forward to JJ Diaz.
- Diaz scored from the goal box, tying the game 1-1.

- Witthauer and Shriner were credited with assists on the goal.
- Moments later, in the 36th minute, Cristian Chel Lara slotted a ball into the right side of the net to give the Falcons a 2-1 lead.
- In the 60th minute, Harper Sabari took advantage of a ball deflected in the box, scoring a goal into the right side of the net to give the Falcons a 3-1 lead they wouldn't relinquish.

- The Falcons owned a 13-11 advantage in shots against the Rangers, with five being on goal.
- Orlando Erazo led the squad with three shots on Saturday.
- Diaz, Chel Lara, and Sabari each scored one goal for the Falcons against Regis.
