FROM THE COACH
"We've been pleased with how the group has handled the first half of the conference season," head coach Kevin Sakuda said. "We've found different ways to win, and seen different players step up when called upon. The last three results came from strong performances, but we know that we still need to raise our level to achieve what we set out to do this year.  Facing all our conference opponents for the 2nd time now presents new challenges, and our two opponents this week will require us to be at our best."

    • After going down 1-0 to the Wolves in the first half, Brady Reed, Lucas Witthauer, and Isaac Ketcham scored consecutive goals in a 16½-minute span of the second half to give the Falcons enough offense to secure the victory.

FROM THE COACH
"It was great for our team to experience two big wins at home and to see some of the hard work pay off that our entire roster has been putting in," head coach Jason Rhine said. "We are at a really good midpoint in the season where we need to learn from the data and experiences from conference play so far.  To give ourselves the best chance in upcoming matches, we need to shore up some of our weaknesses as a team and build on our strengths.  We also need to prepare well each week, knowing that every team we play will be a little more prepared for us, and we will need to elevate our execution of the scouting report to reach the level of play the team is hoping for!  It is exciting to have two more chances to do that this week while traveling to our farthest road trip, and a new gym for St. Martin's - each week brings unique challenges to overcome."

FROM THE COACH
"We turn the corner on our conference season this week, and begin the back half of the schedule," head coach Arby Busey said. "Playing teams a second time is a tricky proposition, but one we are extremely excited about. On the road again this week, to Ellenburg and Nampa. Both teams have been better at home, so we'll have to be on our game to get results. I like where our group is at right now and know our preparation will be great this week."
