PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its Men's Soccer Weekly Awards on Monday afternoon, featuring Seattle Pacific's
Brady Reed as the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week.
"Brady was fantastic on Saturday," head coach
Kevin Sakuda said. "He's a special talent with the ball and he showed that quality in setting up the two goals. We talk a lot about being ready when your opportunity comes, and I couldn't be prouder of the way he stepped up and made an impact on the game."
Reed played the role of facilitator in the Falcons' noteworthy 4-1 triumph over Western Washington on Saturday, delivering the first points of his collegiate career. With SPU leading 1-0 in the 36th minute, Reed fed a pass to
Marcos Bravo who doubled the Falcons' advantage with a goal. Reed then provided the helper on
Cooper Schneider's 76th-minute finish, which sealed a win in which four different SPU players scored.
Earning his first GNAC appearance of the campaign, Reed made a massive impact in just 25 minutes on the pitch. The sophomore defender has now played in nine total matches since debuting in the fall of 2025.
Reed and the Falcons return home for the first time since Sept. 5 next weekend, when they host Western Oregon on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saint Martin's on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
