SEATTLE - The Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team squared off with Western Washington in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championship Match on Saturday morning, as the Falcons fought valiantly against the Vikings, but a second half goal from the visitors proved to be enough to give them a 1-0 victory at Interbay Soccer Stadium.
FROM THE COACH
"Heartbreaking to have our season end," head coach
Arby Busey said. "We played so hard, and so well all weekend. Loved the leadership we got from our seniors, and the response they got from their team. Our group rose to the occasion and showed so much belief in each other! It was amazing how much this team grew together throughout the fall, and we saw that on display this weekend!! Phenomenal group of women we have."
