SEATTLE – The Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team hosted Western Oregon on Saturday afternoon, as goals from
Andie Buckley,
Logann Dukes and
Nora Patterson combined with a shutout from
Landry Schoennauer guided the Falcons to a 3-0 victory over the Wolves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 43rd minute of the match, a foul was committed by the Wolves, setting up a free kick for the Falcons just past midfield.
- Jaylen Curran launched the ball into the box, where Andie Buckley settled and scored it from six yards out, putting the Falcons up 1-0.
- In the 52nd minute, the Falcons took advantage of a corner kick, launched into the box by Grace Coston, and Logann Dukes headed it in to put the Falcons up 2-0.
- The Falcons added to their lead in the 70th minute when Nora Patterson scored on an assist from Sophie Hanay.
- The Falcons kept the Wolves scoreless for the remaining 20 minutes of the match to secure the 3-0 victory.

- The Falcons finished the match with 22 shots, nine of which were on goal.
- Patterson sent in three shots, all of them being on frame.
- Hanay, L. Dukes, Buckley, and Ashlyn Valdovinos matched Patterson with three shots each.
- Schoennauer played 90 minutes in goal for the Falcons, facing seven shots while making two saves.
