SPU: Two-year letterwinner. Named to the GNAC All-Academic team in 2007-08.
2007-08: Played in 14 games, all as a reserve. Averaged 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 5.6 minutes.
2006-07: Played five games, averaging 7.0 points and 3.0 rebounds before being sidelined by an injury.
2005-06: Came off the bench in all 14 games she played, averaging 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds. Topped the 50-percent accuracy mark from the field, hitting 14 of 27. Also had five blocked shots, tied for third on the team.
Personal: Linguistics and European studies major. Having grown up in Minnesota, where hockey is huge, that's the game Schaar said she'd be playing if it wasn't for basketball. She threw the shot and discus on the track team in high school, and also played volleyball.
