Biography
SPU: Three-year letterwinner and returning starter. … Academic all-conference as sophomore. Shared most improved award as freshman and Unsung Hero as sophomore.
Junior: 1st Team All-Region (NSCAA + Daktronics) selection, played in all 24 games, finishing with seven goals, a team high 16 assists, with one game winning goal over 62 attempted shots. Academic All-Conference repeat selection as well.
Sophomore: Finished tied for fifth in GNAC assists and second on team…Assisted on both goals in 2-0 win at Notre Dame de Namur and created four goals in five games during mid-September…Lone goal came at Cal State Monterey Bay…One of four players to start all 22 games.
Freshman: Contributed two goals and two assists in final six games, including game-winner in regional championship win over UC San Diego. Made NCAA championships all-tournament team scoring goal and assist in semifinal win. Played in each game and her 11 starts came in final 12 games.
Bellevue Christian High School: Four-year letter winner and starter for the Vikings, who took third at 1A state last fall…Scored 20 goals as a senior and was Emerald City League MVP as a junior…Also played five years for FC Crossfire, which took first place in the Premier 1 five times and won the state cup three times.
Personal: Meredith Christine Teague was born June 10, 1987 in Kirkland, Washington...Older sisters Allison (2002-05) and Melinda (2003) also played at SPU…Business administration major.
