Junior (2016): INDOOR – Placed 11th in the 400 at GNAC in a personal-best time of 50.71. That was his first time below 51 seconds and continued a steady drop throughout the season. After coming into the year with a PR of 51.88, lowered it all four days he raced: 51.42 at the UW Indoor Preview to 51.22 at the Tracktown USA High Performance meet to 51.14 at the UW Indoor Open, and finally the 50.71 at GNAC. ... Ran the second leg on the 7th-place 4000 distance medley relay at GNAC, teaming up with David McLeod, Brandon Graue and Adam Avischious. ... Anchored the 8th-place GNAC 4x400 relay, following Peyton Harris, Graue, and Avischious with the baton. OUTDOOR – Placed 8th in the 400 meters at GNAC in 50.18, his first-ever conference final. ... That beat his previous personal best of 52.54 set at the UW Indoor Open on Feb. 15, his only other race of the season. OUTDOOR – Ran the 200 and 400 in all seven of his meets. ... After a season-opening time of 52.84 at the UPS Outdoor Preview on March 7, set PRs in four straight meets, capped by a 51.80 on April 11 at the Emilie Mondor Invitational. Then, beat that one with a 51.20 in the Saint Martin's Invitational on May 2, his final meet of the season.
Freshman (2014): INDOOR – Ran in three meets, doing the 400 meters in all of them. ... Placed 16th in the 400 at GNAC with a personal-best time of 53.26. OUTDOOR – Competed in seven meets, doing five events over the course of the season. ... As with indoors, primary focus was the 400, running that race five times. Set a PR of 52.73 in taking 11th place at the UW Outdoor Open on April 12. ...
