Sophomore (2018): INDOOR – Ran the 400 leg on the 4000 distance medley relay that placed an All-American 5th at the NCAA D2 Championships, teaming with Kate Lilly, Chynna Phan, and Mary Charleson for a season-best time of 11:31.69. Just two weeks earlier at the SPU Final Qualifier, that same group clinched a spot at nationals by clocking 11:39.11. ... Placed 3rd in the 400 at GNAC with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 56.30, just .01 away from her personal best. ... Placed 4th in the 200 at GNAC in a PR time of 25.33. ... Ran the second leg of the 5th-place 4x400 relay at GNAC.  OUTDOOR – Took 2nd in the 400-meter dash at GNAC with a season-best and NCAA provisional qualifying time of 55.91. ... West Seattle High School: Didn't turn out for track until she was a junior in 2015, but went on to make the most of her two years. ... Won the state Class 3A (large / medium school) 400-meter dash as a senior in 2016 in 55.74. In fact, she ran the 400 on 13 occasions, including the Metro League and Sea-King District championship meets, and won 12 of them. The only exception was the state preliminaries, in which she had the second-fastest time of 55.98, which was 18 hundredths behind Jordyn Edwards of Lynnwood. Then in the finals, Taylor finished more than a full second ahead of runner-up Edwards, 55.74 to 56.82. ... Also placed 3rd in the 200-meter dash and 5th in the 100 at state. ...
