SPU: One-year letterwinner indoor and outdoor.

Freshman (2009): OUTDOOR –  In addition to 1500, took up the steeplechase, winning that event in 9:37.31 at Pacific Lutheran Invitational, and winning the Western Washington Twilite meet in 9:39.23. ... Ran 2nd to Chad Meis in steeple at Ken Foreman-Ken Shannon Invitational. INDOOR – Placed 8th in the mile at GNAC (4:30.82). Posted SPU’s best mile time of the season (4:30.74) at the UW Indoor Open just six days before his GNAC run.
