Freshman (2010): Ran in seven meets, and was part of the Seattle Pacific scoring in five of them. Ran 2nd for the Falcons at the Apple Ridge Invitational (16th overall) and Sundodger (56th overall). ... Completed SPU's scoring (59th overall) at the GNAC Championships. ... Placed sixth for Falcons (116th overall) at NCAA West Regionals in Bellingham.
Rockford High School: Ran at the conference and regional meet as a senior. ... Was an alternate for state as a junior and senior.

Fun facts: When asked how she got introduced to cross country, Knape said, "My sister ran and I was a cheerleader. My sister said I was a wimp and couldn't run cross country, so I proved her wrong." ... Also enjoys skiing, sailing and surfing. ...
