Senior (2012): After a solid race at Sundodger (No. 4 for SPU, 36th overal) in helping the Falcons to a school-record 2nd-place team finish and best-ever low score of 108 points, became the team front runner at Charles Bowles Invitational two weeks later. Finished 18th overall as SPU posted a team-record 4th-place finish. ... Led the Falcons at GNAC Championships, placing 7th to earn all-conference status for the first time, and leading the team to a 5th-place finish, guaranteeing a trip to NCAA West Regionals. ... Was No. 5 for the team and 100th overall at Regionals.
Junior (2011): Ran in seven meets. Was part of SPU's scoring pack at GNAC Championships (No. 4 for Falcons, 42nd overall) and NCAA West Regionals (No. 5 for Falcons, 64th overall). ... Posted a pair of high finishes at season-opening double-duals at Alaska Fairbanks, finishing No. 2 for SPU (3rd overall) in the long-course meet, and No. 3 for SPU (5th overall) in short-course meet. ... Fun facts: Said part of his incentive to getting into cross country was to improve his mile time in P.E. class. ... In high school, won the individual title at the Sonoran Region championship meet as a senior, and led the team to first place, then was a scoring member of the team that won the Arizona state championship. Also helped team win Sonoran Region title and place second at state as a junior. ... If he wasn't running, would want to be doing triathlons because "I love being outside and the exertion of training for an endurance sport every day." ...
