His 2018 senior year race was easily his best, as he finished 14th and clocked a PR of 16:29.4 for 5000 meters on Pasco's Sun Willows Golf Course and helped Liberty take 3rd place as a team. That was nine seconds faster and 24 places higher than what he did as a junior, when he was part of the 4th-place state team. ...
