Sophomore (2019): INDOOR – Placed 9th in the pole vault at the GNAC Championships with a season-best mark of 13-2 1/2 ... Competed in three meets.
OUTDOOR – Participated in seven meets, with a personal-best of 13-5 1/4 at the Doris Heritage Track Festival on March 16. ... Finished 3rd in the Saint Martin's Jay Hammer Meet on April 13 at 12-11 1/2. ... Did not participate at GNAC.
Freshman (2018): INDOOR – Participated in two meets, doing pole vault both times. Cleared a PR height of 13-6 1/2 on Feb. 11 at the UW Indoor Open.
OUTDOOR – Placed 5th in the pole vault at GNAC with his first-ever 14-foot leap, clearing 14-0 1/2. That was more than a foot better than his college outdoor debut of 12-11 1/2 in the season-opening Ed Boitano Invitational at Puget Sound in Tacoma on March 3. Flintoff came into GNACs seeded a non-scoring 11th off his regular-season best of 13-8 1/4 at the Western Washington Team Invitational in Bellingham on April 6. ... His first SPU 13-footer came the following week at the PLU Open in Tacoma, when he cleared 13-5 1/4. ... PR'd again the following week by adding two inches at SPU's Doris Heritage Track Festival.
Skyview High School: Advanced to the Greater St. Helens League 4A District meet in the pole vault as a junior in 2016 and again as a senior in 2017. ... Won four regular-season meet in the the pole vault as a senior, with a personal-best of 13-9. ... In the first meet of his senior year, a dual at Battle Ground, won with a clearance of 12-9. That was more than two feet better than his previous PR of 10-6, set as a junior.
