Freshman (2024): INDOOR – In just his second college meet, set a school indoor record of 15 feet, 5¾ inches at the UW Indoor Preview on Jan. 13. That broke the previous record of 14-11, originally set by Chris Randolph in 2006, then matched twice by Ray Zoellick in 2011 and 2012. … Placed 5th at the GNAC Championship, getting over at 14-2½. … Made his college debut with a 14-7 ¼ clearance at the season-opening Spokane Invitational on Dec. 9, giving him 2nd place. OUTDOOR – Placed 3rd at GNAC with an outdoor personal-best 15-6¼. That was his first 15-footer outdoors. … The previous week at the Linfield Open on May 4 in McMinnville, Ore., picked up his first victory, clearing a then-outdoor PR 14 feet even. … Missed the first month of the season with an injury, making his outdoor debut on April 5 at the Doris Heritage Invitational in Renton, going 13-7 for 3rd place.

Mountlake Terrace High School: Qualified for the Class 3A (medium-large school) Washington state meet as a junior and senior, placing 20th as a junior with a clearance of 11 feet even. Did not place as a senior in 2023. … Cleared a personal-best and school-record 14-3 to take 2nd place at the 3A Northwest District meet as a senior. That was his first 14-foot bar after going as high as 13-9 previously. … After a best of 11-6 during his 2022 junior season, started the following spring with a mark of 13-0 to win the Seattle Academy Relays. Followed up by winning four other regular-season meets.
