Frontier Academy High School: Qualified for the Class 3A Colorado state meet in three of her four years, topped by a 2nd-place finish as a senior in 2013 with a time of 20:07.3 for 5 kilometers -- more than a full minute faster than her junior year (21:18.8) and a whopping four minutes (and 102 places) better than the 24:43.77 she posted as a freshman. ... Just nine days before that runner-up state finish in 2013, won her first regional title, thanks to a 5K personal-best time of 19:09. It was just her second mark under 20 minutes, and shattered her previous best of 19:50.13, set three weeks earlier in a 2nd-place run at the Nike Pre Nationals. ...
