South Kitsap High School:  Ran in the Class 4A (large school) Washington state meet as a sophomore in 2019, placing 143rd. ... Raced in the Westside Classic / West Central District Championships as a senior in 2021, finishing 71st, and as a sophomore, placing 54th. ... Posted her first time in the 20s for 5000 meters at the 2019 Bill Kehoe South Sound Invite, stopping the watch in 20:50.5. ... On the track, ran the second leg on the title-winning 4-by-200 relay and led off the title-winning 4-by-400 relay at the Class 4A (large school) Washington state meet as a senior in 2022. ... Also ran the second leg on the 2nd-place 4-by-100 relay, and placed 5th in the 400-meter dash in 59.33. In the previous day's 400 prelims, set a personal-best by clocking 58.77. ... In the relay races, it was the same four girls on all of them: Crane, Elise Hopper, Ella Hopper, and Savannah Kambich. ... Fun facts:  Got introduced to track in elementary school, when kids were not allowed on the equipment until after running a lap around the playground and soccer field. "I always wanted to be the first student allowed to use the play toys and swings, so I gained my competitive spirit for running from that." Joined her first track team in 4th grade because her older sister was already running track. ... Also has done soccer and basketball. ... Her high school 4-by-400 relay got a chance in the National Scholastics Athletic Federation (NSAF) Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene and earned All-American recognition, then took 2nd place at the USA Track & Field (USATF) nationals in Sacramento. ... Favorite kind of workout is "one that will absolutely push my mind -- something like 300 or 400-meter repeats." ... If not for track, would play basketball. ...
