Coach Patrick Pappalardo hails from St. Louis, Missouri where he was a member of St. Louis Rowing Club. He was a competitive sweep rower throughout high school racing eights and fours throughout the Midwest and Nationally. This included a national championship qualification in the lightweight 8+ in 2012, and a Midwest regional championship in the lightweight 4+ in 2013 with a fifth place finish at the high school national championship that year.

The Falcons’ success is near and dear to the heart for Coach Patrick as an alumnus of Seattle Pacific.  He earned a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2017 including institutional review board approved research regarding rowing machine training and studied the physiological requirements of the sport throughout college.

Patrick also serves as the Boathouse Manager in the summers, helping get the equipment, facilities, and launches ready for the next season.

He is pursuing a future in physical therapy and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He takes pride in contributing to the development of young athletes representing SPU in the sport of rowing in at the nationally competitive level.
