Biography
SPU: Two-year letterwinner and returning starter at outside back…Academic all-conference as junior.
Junior: One of four players to start all 22 games…Finished tied for fifth in GNAC assists and second on team…Goals came in back-to-back wins over Grand Canyon and Dixie State in Phoenix at midseason, and both were game-winner. Contributed two assists in following game, at Northwest Nazarene.
Sophomore: Provided speed and spark to attack, coming off the bench and appearing in each game, usually wide in midfield…Both goals came in first four games and had two assists in 6-0 win over Western Oregon.
Washington State: Appeared in three games last season, and was a red shirt in 2003, due to injury.
Cascade Christian High School: Four-year letter winner and starter… Scored 17 goals and added 20 assists as a senior to earn Chinook League co-MVP honors and first team all-area…Also played club for FC Royals, the state champions her final two seasons.
Personal: Jessica Rae Gerstmann was born September 25, 1984 in Puyallup, Washington...Younger sister Mallorie is a freshman teammate…History major.
