Eddie Strickler

After starring at SPU in distance events, Eddie Strickler now is in his second year of working with Falcon distance runners.

Strickler, a native of Richland, Wash., is one of Seattle Pacific’s all-time best runners in the 800 meters. He owns the school’s fourth-fastest outdoor time of 1:50.59. He was an All-GNAC athlete in 2006 and 2007, and was an Academic All-American and an Academic All-District selection in 2007. He won the conference indoor title in the 800 in 2007 and went on to become an All-American by placing eighth at the NCAA Division II Championships.

Strickler was part of the 2004 Falcon men’s cross country team that went to the NCAA meet.
