SPU cross country: Broke into the scoring pack immediately and was part of the scoring five in all but two meets. … Finished 4th for the Falcons at NCAA Championships. … During the regular season, ran No. 4 for the team at Sundodger and No. 3 at Charles Bowles / Willamette Invitational.
Mountain View High School: Placed in the 800 meters at the Washington state meet: 5th as a freshman in 2009, 3rd as a sophomore, 2nd as a junior, and 4th as a senior. Also placed in the 1600 for three years: 6th as a sophomore in 2010, 8th as a junior, and 5th as a senior. … Won the Greater St. Helens League title in both events as a sophomore, then won the league 1600 title and the district 800 title as a junior. … All-GSHL first team in the 800 all four years and in the 1600 for three years. … Did not run high school cross country, playing soccer instead during the fall, earning All-GSHL first team as a senior in 2011 and second team as a junior.
