Senior (2014): INDOOR – Finished 2nd in the 800 at the NCAA Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C., coming within .49 of winner Shawnee Carnett from Concord (W.V.). Fricker crossed the finish line in 2:09.25. … Set an indoor PR of 2:09.04 at the UW Invitational on Feb. 1. … At the GNAC Championships on Feb. 22, entered the mile unseeded, as she had not posted a time in that event during the regular season, then won it in 5:00.37, an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. ... Placed 2nd to Simon Fraser's Sarah Sawatzky in the 800, clocking 2:10.59. OUTDOOR – Won the NCAA 800-meter championship, surging into the lead with 300 meters to go, then fending off Shawnee Carnett down the stretch to take the title in 2:06.18. Ran anchor leg on the 6th-place 4x400 relay included Kishia Mitchell, Emily Quatier, and Jasmine Johnson. That relay came into the meet as the 14th and final seed and finished in 3:46.34, winning their heat and beating their own school record by more than two seconds. ... At GNAC Championships, crammed three races into less than three hours, placing 4th in the mile with a PR of 5:05.12; 5th in the 800 in 2:15.36, then anchoring the 2nd-place 4x400 relay that finished in 3:48.91 to break the 13-year-old school record of 3:50.29. ... Ran into the lead with less than a lap to go in the 800 at the GNAC Championships, and won going away in 2:15.53. That was an NCAA provisioanl time, but still left her too far down the list to get into the national meet. Took care of that one week late at the SPU Last Chance meet when she went nearly three second faster at 2:12.67, to put herself into NCAAs. ... Over the course of the season, dropped nearly seven seconds in the 800, opening with a 2:18.51 at the UW Indoor Preview on Jan. 14 before finishing with the 2:11.69 at nationals on March 10. ...
