Seattle Pacific University Athletics

Bond joined the Falcons in August of 2022 after spending two and a half years with Fresno Pacific Athletics. Bond started with the Sunbirds in March 2020 as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications and was promoted to Director of Athletics Communications in June 2021. He was a part of a communications office that earned the 2021 PacWest Sports Information Directors of the Year award. 

In May of 2021, Bond served as the Social Media Intern for NCAA DII during their men's and women's national championships. He managed the NCAA DII social media accounts throughout the week, highlighting the best moments from the tournament. 

Before joining the Sunbirds, Bond worked as a Graduate Assistant at Central Washington University. He earned a master's degree in athletics administration from CWU. As his final project, he completed an athletics communications handbook outlining practices of the profession. 

Bond earned a bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University. During his time at PLU, he worked as a student assistant in the sports information office. Duties included written coverage for most of the teams on campus, as well as general website maintenance, content creation for the PLU Athletics Hall of Fame, and other game-day duties. 

As a student at PLU, Bond became the creator, producer, and host of Half Athlete Radio, a sports talk show on the university's student radio station. The show became the most listened to of its kind in the history of the station. 

Bond worked as a Sports Clerk for the Tacoma News Tribune. He created the scoreboard page for the Olympian and Tacoma News Tribune. He also reported on local high school sports, including the football and basketball state championships. 

Bond also spent time as a play-by-play announcer for high school sports on 1180 AM KLAY Radio. He broadcasted football and basketball from around Puget Sound. Later, he would do the same for the NFHS Network. 

Bond is joined by his wife Mackenzie and daughters Charlie and Kora.
