Shirley Chandler is in her first year as an assistant athletic trainer at Seattle Pacific. She will be overseeing care for all athletes but will assume primary duties for men's soccer and cross country/ track and field.
Prior to SPU Shirley attended Whitworth University in Spokane from 2016-22. She received her bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2020 and master's degree in Athletic Training in 2022. While an undergrad Shirley played on the women's soccer team and was involved with on-campus ministry as a worship leader.
While in graduate school, she worked closely with football, men's basketball, and track and field. She also spent a semester working with the Gonzaga women's basketball team.
Shirley is a native Washingtonian. She loves getting outside for hikes, walks, or swims, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
