SEATTLE (Sept. 8) – Alicia Cazemier had four of the last five kills for Montana State Billings in the fourth game, as the Yellowjackets took down Seattle Pacific University Saturday night at Brougham Pavilion.

Cazemier led the way for MSUB (1-1, 7-3) with 19 kills as the Yellowjackets beat the Falcons (1-1, 6-4) 30-26, 30-22, 26-30, 30-21.

SPU had gone into the match with winning streaks of 21 Great Northwest Athletic Conference contests at Brougham Pavilion, 28 consecutive GNAC wins and 19 overall at home.

The 'Jackts' Stefania Aladjova had a match-high 52 assists, as well as three aces in the contest.

Rachel Biornstad (Sr., Kent/Wa.) led the charge for the Falcons, smashing 14 kills and seven blocks for the match.

Alyssa Given (Sr., Salinas, Ca.) and teammate Angie Wodrich (Sr., Richland, Wa.) both had four aces each in the match with Wodrich getting back-to-back aces early in the third game, which the Falcons won to claw their way back into the match.

Having smashed down 13 kills in the match, Given moved into the No. 2 spot for all-time career kills at 1154.

As a team, SPU hit at a low .059 clip, while MSU Billings managed .197.

The Falcons host Northwest Nazarene Saturday at 7 to close out their three-match home stand.
