MONMOUTH, Ore. – Freshman forward Shaw Anderson scored 10 of his career-high 34 points in the final stages of regulation and overtime as Seattle Pacific rallied from 11 points down in the second half to win its 10th straight game, 98-88 in overtime against 24th-ranked Western Oregon in the New PE Building Saturday afternoon.

Divant'e Moffitt added 23 points. Braden Olsen added 19 – with 16 in the second half and overtime – as the Falcons remained undefeated and atop the Great Northwest Athletic Conference standings (10-4, 6-0 GNAC) after posting their first road victory over the Wolves since 2013.

Western Oregon (9-3, 3-3), which had its four-game win streak snapped, was paced by the 26 points of Darius Lubom.

s step-back trey from the top of the key opened the extra period, and SPU reeled off eight unanswered points for an 84-76 advantage. Western Oregon got no closer than six the rest of the way.

Moffitt, who scored seven points in overtime, sealed the win with a steal and lay-up, then two free throws in the final minute. In all, SPU scored 22 points in the five minutes of extra time.

Olsen also contributed seven points during the first half. His 3-pointer from the left corner pushed the lead to nine, 87-78. He also converted four times from the foul line, where he was 8 of 9. Olsen led the team with seven assists.

The Falcons, who lost their first four outings this season, have fashioned their second double-digit win streak in the past year. They won 13 in a row from Jan. 31 to March 15 last season. Of the current 10 straight wins, six have come on the road. After Tuesday's game at Saint Martin's, six of the next eight are at home.

Seattle Pacific trailed for the first 37 minutes, but took the lead, 74-71, when Anderson connected on a 3-pointer from the right corner with 2:32 remaining. That capped a 10-0 run featuring five points apiece from Anderson and Olsen. An Olsen free throw made it 76-74 with 30 second left in regulation, but Lubom's driving lay-up six seconds later forced overtime.

Anderson, who poured in 33 against Alaska Fairbanks a week ago, kept the visitors within striking distance before the comeback. He finished 11 of 16 from the field, hitting 7 of 9 outside the arc. He also hauled down nine rebounds.

SPU was playing without senior forward Gavin Long, the No. 2 scorer, who is out with an injury.

HOT SHOTS AFTER HALFTIME
After shooting 54.5 percent during the second half, the Falcons were 5 of 7 from the floor in overtime and made all nine free throw attempts. They shot 52.6 percent (3057) for the game and outscored the Wolves from the foul line, 23-6. SPU enjoyed a 38-28 edge on the boards.

Western Oregon forged its lead by limiting turnovers and punishing on 3-pointers. Prior to Seattle Pacific's late surge, the Wolves hit 11 of 27 on treys. But they were just 3-of 13 the rest of the way. A potential game-winning shot by Cameron Cranston from the corner at the regulation buzzer bounced twice off the rim.

After leading by two at halftime, the hosts steadily widened the gap. John Morrill-Keeler's trey gave Western Oregon its largest lead at 57-46 with 15 minutes left in regulation.

The Wolves led the entirety of the first half, thanks to seven treys and only three turnovers. Dalven Brushier, who fouled out with 1:36 remaining in regulation, hit three from long range. WOU led by 31-23 after Seattle Pacific went scoreless for more than four minutes.

Anderson kept SPU close, drilling four treys and scoring 17. A 3-pointer from Anderson and four free throws from Moffit brought it back to 31-30.
