ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Seattle Pacific's previously scheduled season-ending women's soccer game on Saturday in Ellensburg, Washington has been canceled.
Central Washington announced the cancelation of their May 15 home soccer match with SPU out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of student-athletes and staff. The CWU Department of Athletics, as well as the women's soccer program, continues to follow local and regional health authorities' recommendations.
The cancelation effectively ends the season for seventh-ranked SPU, which defeated Western Washington 4-1 last night at Interbay Stadium.
The Falcons complete the campaign with an 8-0-1 record.
