In a 3-1 victory against the Wolves last Thursday in Brougham Pavilion, Hair had nine kills and one error on 15 attacks for a .533 hitting percentage. Then in a 3-0 sweep of Saint Martin's on Saturday, she was even better, with 11 kills and zero errors on 16 swings for a .688 percentage.

It was the seventh time in her career that Hair had an error-free match. But it was the first of those seven in which she did it with double-digit kills. (Hair recorded a pair of 9 kill-0 error matches last season.)

The .600-plus percentage was her first of the season in that range, and the .500-plus against Western Oregon was her third in that one.

Along with her solid work on offense – her last one of the of the day against Saint Martin's was the 500th of her career – Hair came up with eight blocks assists for the week, getting six of those against Western Oregon.

This is Hair's fifth Athlete of the Week of the award and her second on offense. Last season, she earned one for offense and one for defense, just the 11th player in GNAC history go win both in the same season She also won twice for defense during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season.

It also is the second week in a row the Falcons have gained a conference award. Last Monday, they were named the Team of the Week after road victories at Northwest Nazarene and Central Washington.

SPU has just one match this week, wrapping up the first half of the conference schedule on Saturday at home against Montana State Billings. The first serve is at 2:00 p.m.
