SEATTLE – The 24th-ranked Seattle Pacific University men's soccer team had its three-match winning streak come to a end at the hands of Western Oregon on Thursday night, as a goal in each half from the visitors was enough to take down the Falcons 2-0.

"Games always come down to making plays, and credit to them, they converted their chances when it counted," head coach 
Kevin Sakuda said. "We created a lot of good moments, especially in the 2nd half, but just couldn't find one tonight."
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- The Wolves took the lead in the 13th minute when Michael Divano scored with assists from Navarro Ocamp and Marcus Valdez.
- The Wolves added to their lead in the 68th minute when Evan Huber sent in a rebounded shot from 10 yards out and into the lower left corner.
- The Falcons tried to cut into the Wolves' lead when Orlando Erazo banged a shot off the left post in the 78th minute.
- SPU was unlucky again in the 81st minute when Owen Swartout hammered one off the same left post.
FROM THE BOX SCORE
	- The Falcons applied pressure throughout the match, launching 18 shots compared to 14 from the Wolves.
- Rafael Lucio and Connor Tollan tied for a game-high four shots on Thursday night.
- Brian Lanier got the start and played 90 minutes in goal for the Falcons on Thursday night.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
	- The Falcons had not allowed two goals in a match this season since Sept. 4 on the road against Stanislaus State.
	
		- The Warriors are currently ranked first in the country in the latest United Soccer Coaches National Poll.
