FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Seattle Pacific University women's volleyball team had its four-match winning streak come to an end in three sets against 20th-ranked Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday night.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before the Nanooks answered with a 14-5 run in the first set.
• UAF took the opening set 25-19.
• The Falcons fell behind the Nanooks 12-5 in the second set.
• SPU was down five when they stormed back into the set with a 13-7 run, giving them a 24-23 lead.
• The Nanooks used a quick 3-0 to secure the set 26-24.
• In the third set, the Nanooks hit .395 on their way to taking it 25-15 and the match 3-0.

FROM THE BOX SCORE

• Megan Omlid led the Falcons with nine kills while adding six digs and two aces.
• Joslyn Greff had eight kills, while Amaya Evans had seven kills on a .235 hitting percentage for SPU.
• Sophia Chambers led the Falcons with 14 assists, while Avery Veenendall had 13 assists.
• Christina Lopez had a team-high 19 digs.
