IRVINE, Calif. - The Seattle Pacific University women's basketball team couldn't get going against Concordia University Irvine on Saturday, falling 74-51 in a tough road matchup.

"We played a really aggressive team that can shoot the lights out. As the game went on, we learned how to match their intensity and run our offense against their defense," head coach

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A slow start hindered the Falcons in the first half, as they converted just 9 of 31 field goal attempts over the first two quarters.

- The Falcons didn't make a 3-pointer in the first half of the game.
- The Falcons found their rhythm from 3-point range late in the third quarter when Grace Turley, Jadlyn Senderson, and Haylie-Anne Ohta knocked down consecutive 3-pointers during a 9-0 run.
- Ohta led the Falcons with five points in the fourth quarter, while Kara Wilson scored four points in the final 10 minutes of the game.
- The Golden Eagles took the game 74-51.

- The Falcons finished the game shooting 37.3 percent (22-for-59) from the field, including a 4-for-13 performance (30.8 percent) from 3-point range.
- Ohta had another strong night for the Falcons, leading the team with 12 points while pulling down three rebounds and dishing out three assists.
- Ohta had a game-high seven steals for the Falcons against the Golden Eagles.
- Turley turned in 11 points for SPU with five made field goals.
- Layne Kearns and Grace Leasure tied for a team-high five rebounds each against CUI.
