Falcons Clinch 13th GNAC Championships Berth by Beating Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. – The Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team clinched its 13th appearance in next weekend's Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships with a 1-0 victory over Montana State University Billings on Thursday afternoon.

FROM THE COACH
"Great win today," head coach Arby Busey said. "Excited about the opportunity to extend our season a little longer. Tough conditions to play through, but our group did an amazing job adjusting as the game progressed, and as has been the case for us, Kayla found the back of the net! She has been very consistent all fall, and continues to come up big for us in big moments. Defensively, we were excellent as a team today, back 4 and GKs cleaned up everything thrown at them, and midfield and forwards worked really hard in front of those guys to make it hard to get the ball forward. Really good road performance today."
