Falcons Shut out Second-Ranked Golden Eagles in Scoreless Draw

LOS ANGELES – The Seattle Pacific University men's soccer team faced a tough test in second-ranked Cal State LA on Thursday night, as the Falcons defended well to shut out the Golden Eagles and leave LA with a 0-0 tie.

"The guys were great tonight," head coach Kevin Sakuda said. "Cal State LA is a top team, and they make the game difficult. I was proud of the way we attacked that game and the fight we showed. We need to be more dangerous in the final third, but getting our first clean sheet of the year was big for the group."

HOW IT HAPPENED
