SEATTLE - The Seattle Pacific University women's volleyball team fell in straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16) to Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday afternoon.
FROM THE COACH
"In the first set, we were able to limit the Fairbanks offense and play pretty evenly until right near the end of the set," head coach
Jason Rhine said. "Amaya [Evans] bounced back from a small injury from Thursday and came up with some big blocks on top of being our kill leader tonight."

"We battled hard throughout, and Christina [Lopez] and our defense were able to produce a lot of digs and create extra chances for our team," Rhine added. "Credit to Fairbanks' defense, though, which ultimately didn't give up very many kills and made it difficult to score from beginning to end."
