BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Amaya Evans,
Megan Omlid and
Maiya Lester each recorded 11 kills Thursday evening, as the 25th-ranked Seattle Pacific completed the regular season sweep of Western Washington 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-21) on the road at Carver Gym.
FROM THE COACH
"It is always a fun but tough environment at Western, and we are excited to come away with a win," head coach
Jason Rhine said. "Western served us very tough, and that caused the rhythm of the match to feel a bit choppy. It's also a mental challenge to play well when the service pressure is high, but I thought our team did a great job of responding by playing intense defense and finding a variety of ways to score in transition."
