SEATTLE – Hannah Chang set a new personal best at the Husky Classic on Friday afternoon with an 8.53 in the 60-meter hurdles that ranked 15th nationally for the Seattle Pacific University track & field team.
"We are all super excited for Hannah to get this result," head coach Karl Lerum said. "She has put in the work. I am just looking forward to her getting a couple more chances to run at the conference championships."
Chang was the only Falcon to hit the track at the Husky Classic over the weekend. Her 8.53 performance earned an event win on the 60-meter hurdles. The time ranks 15th nationally and is a personal best in the event.
The Falcons are set for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Monday and Tuesday at the Podium in Spokane, Wash.
