Racquel Wesley earning recognition for their work in the classroom and on the water.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
The Falcons wrapped up their 2026 season on May 29 at the NCAA National Championships. SPU battled Western Washington for the top spot in the Varsity 8+ race. The Vikings edged past the Falcons for the win, while the Falcons took second place in the race with a 6:44.732. The Falcons' second-place finish in the V8+ powered SPU to third place, with a total of 17 points. The SPU women's rowing team was named the SPU Athletics Team of the Year at the annual Talon Awards on June 4.
Aleksia Haugen adds another accolade to her 2026 season. She was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Coxswain of the Year on May 27.
Miriam Dykstra earned a share of the GNAC Freshman of the Year Award.
Solanes Capps-Mace was named First Team All-GNAC. All five CRCA Scholar-Athletes were a part of the 14 Falcons SPU placed on the GNAC All-Academic Team on May 7. Combs, Haugen, Roybal, and Wesley were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athletes on June 8.
