SEATTLE – Seattle Pacific University women's golf head coach
Tyler Copp finalized the Falcons 2026 signing class with the addition of transfer standout Emma Worgum and incoming first-year Julie Wang, bringing a combination of collegiate experience and international talent to the Falcons program.
Worgum joins SPU after spending the past three seasons at Western Washington University. A native of La Conner, Wash., and graduate of La Conner High School. She established herself as one of the top golfers in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference during her collegiate career. Worgum earned First Team All-GNAC honors twice and was selected Second Team All-GNAC once. Prior to college, she captured an individual state championship while competing for La Conner High School.
"We are all so excited about Emma finishing her career as a Falcon," Copp said. "She has a wonderful reputation amongst the PNW golf community, and her accomplishments at the collegiate level are quite impressive. Most importantly, she brings a spirit about her that will fit right in with what we've built the last two years."
Wang comes to Seattle Pacific from Chengdu, China, after attending Tri-City Christian School and training with the Premier Golf Academy in San Marcos, California. She arrives with a strong junior golf background and a desire to continue developing her game while contributing to the Falcons' success.
"Julie has been a very committed junior golfer, and her desire to live in Seattle and represent our school was apparent on her official visit," Copp said. "She's eager to improve her individual game over the next four years and make a strong impact on our team scores. She's grateful for the opportunity and excited to begin fostering friendships with her teammates."
The pair completes SPU's 2026 signing class as the Falcons continue building momentum heading into the upcoming season.
