ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Seattle Pacific University women's volleyball team opened Great Northwest Athletic Conference play on the Last Frontier on Thursday night, as the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves took the match 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20 over the Falcons.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons fell victim to a 14-7 run from the Seawolves in the first set before dropping it 25-19.
- UAA used a 10-5 run to start the second set, maintaining their gap over SPU to take it 25-20.
- Evans, Greff, and Omlid had three kills each for the Falcons in the second set.
- The third set was tied 16-16 when the Seawolves used a 7-3 run to gain an advantage and take the set 25-22.
- Evans led the Falcons with three kills in the third set.

- The Falcons struggled to find a rhythm offensively with a .111 hitting percentage and 21 attack errors in Thursday's match.
- Evans led the Falcons with nine kills while adding an assist and one block.
- Greff added seven kills to the SPU total, while Omlid had six.
- Peyton Ensign and Avery Veenendall tied each other with a team-high 12 assists against the Seawolves.
- Christina Lopez led the Falcons with 16 digs.
