Falcons Welcome New Students With Dominant Sweep of Yellowjackets

SEATTLE - The Seattle Pacific University women's volleyball team gave a packed house of new students plenty to cheer about Saturday afternoon, powering past Montana State University Billings in a dominant 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-16) sweep as part of New Student Orientation.

FROM THE COACH
"Really fun environment tonight," head coach Jason Rhine said. "The freshmen and student section provided a ton of energy, and our team loved the extra excitement in the gym. We had great performances across the board. Audra leading the team in middle kills is an impressive feat. Our sideout percentage was over 70 percent, which shows how well our passing, setting, and attacking worked together on offense tonight. I thought the team stayed calm and had a really fun time competing with the fans supporting."
