COVINGTON, Wash. – The Seattle Pacific University women's golf team hosted its first-ever home tournament at the inaugural Falcon Invitational at Druids Glen Golf Club on Friday and Saturday, finishing second as a team behind a strong showing from Hawaii Pacific.
FROM THE COACH
Zoe put together a solid first round and an excellent second round," head coach
Tyler Copp said. "She has played a lot more like herself in the final rounds of both tournaments this week."
"Scores were high amongst the entire field after round one due to the weather," Copp added. "We were able to stay in the team race heading into day two, but our inability to avoid big numbers ultimately cost us. Our best golf was played the final nine holes, but it was too late to catch first place. A lot of credit goes to HPU; they excelled both days to the conditions and course setup."
