Korrin Wild is starting her second year as the lead assistant coach at Seattle Pacific.

Wild played at Fresno State and has served as that school’s director of volleyball operations for the past two seasons.

As an outside hitter from 2010-13 at Fresno State, Wild ranked among program’s top 10 all-time for kills, digs, service aces, and sets played. She was an All-Mountain West first-team selection as a senior in 2013, and made the All-Western Athletic Conference second team as a sophomore in 2011.

She later played professionally for a year in France.

Wild served as an interim assistant coach for Fresno State for one season before focusing her attention full-time on the director of volleyball operations position, aspects of which included budgeting, recruiting, and serving as an academic advisor.

“Not only was she a decorated and very experienced player, she is someone who also knows how to coach very well,” SPU head coach Abbie Wright said. “For being as skilled as she is, she knows how to teach the game, and she
understands the strategy behind it. Korrin is a very personable individual and relates really well with people.”
