SEATTLE – Throughout the summer, the Seattle Pacific sports information team will pose a series of questions to various Falcon athletes. We will feature one athlete each Wednesday. This week, men's soccer player Judah Johnston has the mic:

Now that things are seemingly headed back to some sense of normal, what is one thing you're really looking forward to?
"I'm looking forward to things becoming more sociable. I missed the occasional random conversation walking to class or seeing people's facial expressions in public settings."

With everything being as unusual as it was this past year, what was the most memorable part about the season for you?
"The most memorable part of the season was scoring against Northwest, my first goal for SPU."

Looking ahead to next season, what are you most excited about?
"The most exciting thing will be traveling with the team to Hawaii."

What are you planning to do this summer – Work? Vacation? Hang out with family? All of the above?
"I'm planning on working full time with some friends of the family, going on camping trips with friends, playing indoor and outdoor soccer, and gardening with my family."

What is your favorite summertime way to stay in shape and prepare for next season?
"I really enjoy running by Clear Creek about a mile away from my house. Being in nature is refreshing."

Most athletes went to a summer sports camp of some kind when they were younger. Did you – and if so, what is your favorite memory from a summer sports camp?
"The fondest memory I have as a child was playing soccer with the women's team at Metro State University."

Growing up, what was your favorite thing to do or your favorite place to go during the summer – and why was that your favorite?
"My favorite place to go was the Dominican Republic, where I could see all of my old friends and the place where I grew up."

Someday – maybe sooner, maybe later – what is one place you'd really like to visit, and why that particular place?
"I would like to visit South Africa someday. The culture and the people there have always fascinated me."\\
