WAIKOLAO, Hawaii – The Seattle Pacific University women's golf team competed at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate Invitational at Waikoloa Beach Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday, where
Zoe Garcia led the Falcons to a 7th-place finish.
FROM THE COACH
"It was definitely an adjustment to playing in Hawaiian conditions," head coach
Tyler Copp said. "It got the best of us in terms of making a few too many mistakes and big numbers execution wise against the wind. Mentally, we stayed in it for the most part, which is a testament to our growth over the last 13 months."
"We had some nice individual performances from Zoe and Sara, but I know the team is hungry to make up for it in a few short days on Oahu," Copp added.
