AIAE, Hawaii – Lauren Lee took third, while
Zoe Garcia finished fourth for the Seattle Pacific University women's golf team at the HPU Shark Shootout, leading the Falcons to their best tournament team finish in program history on Saturday.
FROM THE COACH
"Lauren had an outstanding tournament," head coach
Tyler Copp said. "She did such a good job understanding conditions, executing shots, and making putts when it counted. Her game has been very sharp this month, and for her to be in contention on the back nine and to finish third is a big accomplishment. She will continue to put herself in these situations and excel."
"Zoe had two strong and consistent days," Copp said. "She had been waiting for an opportunity like this and performed her best in the last fall season event. She only had one double bogey in 36 holes, a good recipe for success."
"En route to this being our best tournament finish in program history, we beat some very good West Region opponents," Copp added. "Today was a great way to cap off an exceptional fall season."
